Calia, the Mothkin Fairy - Commission

Created in June 2024 using Photoshop.
A passionate individual currently writing a story commissioned me to draw their main character: Calia, a Mothkin fairy.
It was their first time commissioning someone to draw this character, so I didn't have a visual reference. With their assistance, we brainstormed and put our ideas on paper to bring her to life.
I faced challenges with the composition, but in the end, I'm satisfied. I focused on playing with light and contrasts. The client preferred a clearer image of the character, hence the two versions.
Overall, it was a rewarding experience once again. Bringing others' ideas to life and seeing them so happy is truly gratifying.
